We arrived back from Peru last night, after of a week of exploring Inca ruins, riding horse back into the Andes and climbing Huayna Piccu. Here are a couple of pics, and we are working on our destination site for Peru. We will hopefully have it done by tomorrow. Click here to go to our destination site
We are packed and ready to go. We leave tomorrow for Peru and will spend the night in Lima before leaving for Cuzco and the Sacred Valley early Sunday morning. After a few days in Cuzco and surrounding areas, we will rent a car and explore a bit. We dont have reservations some nights so we will just look for a place to stay. Then we will head to Macchu Piccu. Friday we will be climbing to the top of Huana Piccu, which is the mountain behind Macchu Piccu. We should be able to get some great pics, and we have bought a GoPro camera to try to get some cool movies to upload and share. Will update when we get back.
Michael and Kati
Well we are all ready for our trip to Peru. In just over two weeks we will be in Cuzco, Machu Piccu and climb Huena Piccu. We are very excited and cant wait.
Also, we just booked our Germany trip in August. We will be flying into Vienna, Austria and then visiting Salzburg. I am planning on going to Hitler's summer home, the Wolf's Nest which is about 20 miles outside of Salzburg. We then are heading to Bavaria, where we will meet up with Kati's sister and parents. It is their 40th wedding anniversary so something special is planned but we do not know what it is exactly.
So all is set, now we just have to make some money to pay for all of these trips...but that is another story.
Below is a picture of Hallstatt in Austria where we are planning on staying our first night.
Michael and Kati started this online travel journal mostly for our friends and family. Also, we hope this is an inspiration for those that love to travel and want to explore the world. If you ever see us, just say hi, as we love to meet new people, explore new places and learn about new cultures.
